Butterfly Sites

When you have made a commitment to create a butterfly garden habitat or to conserve existing remnant butterfly habitat register to join the Butterfly Gardening campaign and become eligible to erect a ‘Butterfly Site’ sign at your site and a ‘Butterfly Gardening Supporter’ on your promotional material.

On receipt of the Butterfly Site registration form a ‘Butterfly Site’ sign will be posted to you with an invoice for payment. Cost of signs are $34 plus packaging and postage $6.85. Allow four weeks delivery.

A ‘Butterfly Gardening Supporter’ logo will also be emailed as a PDF to the email address listed above. This may be used on printed material such as annual reports and newsletters.

Butterfly Conservation SA Membership

If you are not a member and would like to join, complete the BCSA Membership form. Post your membership form, annual fee of $10 and Butterfly Site registration form to the address below.

Conditions of use for ‘Butterfly Site’ sign and ‘Butterfly Gardening Supporter’ logo

  • If any site ceases to be ‘butterfly friendly’ the logo must be removed.
  • Costs to display signs and reproduce logos are at your own expense.
  • Only registered users my use the sign and logo.
  • The supporter logo must be produced in the manner depicted; it must not be changed in any way.
  • Photos and information on your site should be forwarded to Butterfly Conservation SA C/- South Australian Museum from time to time for use in the BCSA Newsletter.
